Transparent Wind Devil

Description

Hey hey this is my first mod, I have only tested it in Linux but the process should be the same in Windows.

IT removes the ambient particle swirl and looping sounds from the Shaman's Wind Devil skill.

Wind Devil's combat effectiveness is unchanged, this mod only strips the visual and audio clutter the skill generates while active.

Installation

• []Download and extract the mod.[/]

  []Place the

  TransparentWindDevilfolder directly into your Grim Dawn

  modsfolder, so the path reads

  Grim Dawn/mods/TransparentWindDevil, not nested inside an extra folder.[/]

  []Launch Grim Dawn, select Custom Game from the main menu, and choose

  TransparentWindDevilfrom the mod list.[/]

To bring over an existing main campaign character, close the game, then in your save folder, copy the character's folder from save/maininto save/user, and copy transmutes.gstfrom your main save folder into the newly created save/TransparentWindDevilfolder.

Requirements

Base Grim Dawn, no expansion required

The mod might not be compatible with any other mod that also edits Wind Devil's skill records, since both would be changing the same files.
