Experimental in-game co-op voice chat for Green Hell with proximity and radio modes.

BetterLive - Voice Chat is an experimental BetterLive module for Green Hell.

This module adds in-game voice communication for co-op sessions using BetterLive networking.

It supports push-to-talk, optional voice activation, proximity-based voice playback and radio/walkie-talkie style communication.

The goal is to make co-op gameplay more immersive without requiring an external voice chat application.

  Voice Modes

  This module can work with different voice behavior depending on configuration:

  • []Push-to-talk - voice is transmitted only when the push-to-talk key is held.[/]

    []Voice activation - voice is transmitted automatically when microphone input is above the configured threshold.[/]

    []Proximity - voice playback uses distance-based spatial audio.[/]

    []Radio - voice can be routed through a radio/walkie-talkie style mode.[/]

    Note: Radio and proximity behavior may depend on co-op state, player representation and BetterLive networking availability.

    Configuration

    The module creates its own configuration file:

    Available settings may include:

      []RadioEnabled - enables or disables radio mode.[/]

      For the safest result, restart the game after changing the configuration file.
