Convert Bamboo Logs into Bamboo Long Sticks by chopping them with an axe.

BetterLive - Axe Chop is a small BetterLive module for Green Hell.

This module adds a simple quality-of-life mechanic: when you chop a Bamboo Log with an axe, it can be converted into Bamboo Long Sticks.

The goal is to make bamboo processing feel more natural and useful without turning the game into a full overhaul.

  Configuration

  The module creates its own configuration file:

  BepInEx/config/BetterLive/AxeChop.cfg

  Available settings include:

  • []OutputCount - how many Bamboo Long Sticks are created from one Bamboo Log.[/]

    []SpawnRadius - spawn spread distance in meters.[/]

    []CooldownSeconds - debounce time per object, used to avoid repeated triggering.[/]

    After changing the configuration, restart the game for the safest result.

    Installation

    1. Install BepInEx for Green Hell.

    2. Install BetterLive Hub.

    3. Extract this archive into your Green Hell game folder.

    The file should end up here:

    Green Hell/

    └── BepInEx/

    └── plugins/

    └── BetterLive/

    └── BetterLive. Module. AxeChop.dll

    4. Start the game.

    5. Check the BepInEx console or log file to confirm that the module loaded correctly.
