Description

BetterLive - Audio Tuning is a BetterLive module for Green Hell that adjusts selected audio and world streaming behavior.

The module focuses mainly on predator-related sound behavior, proximity warning pings and reducing some noisy Unity / streamer logs that may cause unnecessary spam or small performance spikes.

This is not a full gameplay overhaul. It is a small tuning module designed to make dangerous animals easier to notice through audio feedback and to make world streaming behavior cleaner.

Main Features

• []Predator audio range tuning - adjusts audio distance behavior for supported predators.

  []Snake and spider proximity ping - optional warning ping when the player is close enough to danger.

  []Jaguar audio tuning - configurable distance behavior for jaguar-related audio sources.

  []3D audio enforcement - can force selected predator AudioSources to use 3D spatial audio.

  []Linear rolloff option - can force linear audio rolloff for more predictable distance-based sound.

  []Streamer log suppression - reduces selected noisy Unity / Streamer log messages.

  []World streaming tuning - optional settings for scene loading, range multiplier and position check timing.

  Configuration

  The module creates its own configuration file:

  BepInEx/config/BetterLive/AudioTuning.cfg

  Available settings may include:

  • []Enable or disable predator audio range tuning

    []Enable snake / spider proximity ping

    []Adjust proximity ping cooldown

    []Adjust proximity ping volume multiplier

    []Adjust snake, spider and jaguar max audio distance

    []Force 3D spatial audio

    []Force linear audio rolloff

    []Suppress selected streamer and predator-related log spam

    []Tune selected world streaming parameters

    Some settings can be changed during runtime, but for best results restart the game after changing the config.

    Installation

    1. Install BepInEx for Green Hell.

    2. Install BetterLive Hub.

    3. Extract this archive into your Green Hell game folder.

    The file should end up here:

    Green Hell/

    └── BepInEx/

    └── plugins/

    └── BetterLive/

    └── BetterLive. Module. AudioTuning.dll

    4. Start the game.

    5. Check the BepInEx console or log file to confirm that the module loaded correctly.

      Compatibility

      This module changes selected audio and world streaming behavior.

      Compatibility with other mods is not guaranteed if they patch the same systems, especially predator audio, streamer loading, AI audio modules or world streaming logic.

      Some tuning values may need adjustment depending on game version, save state and installed mods.
