Storm87's Travelling Trader's Ultimate Selection

Vanilla Greedfall has a couple of issues when it comes to equipment availability. Here's what I've learned so far:

1. Inventory of most merchants is never updated during your playthrough. They'll sell the same limited selection of basic items regardless of your character level. Only four merchants in the whole game will offer higher quality goods as you level up.

2. When they do, many low quality items are permanently removed from their stock, making some of those items essentially unobtainable for high level characters.

3. Some items aren't sold by any merchant. EVER. Handful of them can be looted from dead enemies (very low drop chance) or can be found as a random loot in non-respawning containers (even lower chance). Making them either barely available or simply unobtainable. See screenshots for examples.

This mod will fix those (and some other) issues in a simple and elegant manner.

Features:

- You will now have a chance to find any regular weapon and armor in travelling merchant's inventory (no unique and De Vespe DLC items). The exact "%" chance for item to show up on the list depends on your character level and item quality level (see table below).

- Your chance to find high quality items will rise with your character level, and it'll drop for low quality items at the same time, but none of them will ever be removed from travelling merchant's inventory.

- Travelling merchant will now sell memory crystals for a base price of 1000 gold. Feel free to respec your character as many times as you like... if you can afford it.

- Merchant in De Vespe camp will now sell medium and heavy boots of gold-silver regiment. These were unobtainable by normal means after finishing DLC quest line.

Chances for any cape to show up are doubled since there's only 10 of them in the game.

Installation:

Unpack "game_components" and "items" folders from the archive and place them into your "datalocal" directory, typically located at:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GreedFall

Compatibility:

1. This mod will override the following files:

game_components_ld_trader_ee.sli

game_components_ld_autogen_traders_inventory.sli

Used for managing traders' inventory. Not compatible with any similar mods.

items_autogen_quests.sli

Used to set the properties of quest items. Unlikely to be used by other mods.

2. This mod is compatible with Storm87's Invisible Cape. If you want to merge them, THIS mod should be on top.

Overwrite any conflicting files.
