Reshade Realistic GreedFall 1 NewGen 2026

Description

Removes the base game's orange filter, sharpens all textures, improves depth of field, and boosts color intensity and reflections while maintaining optimal performance. A ReShade preset that fine-tunes the game, giving it the look of a next-gen title.

You can optimize it further, even at the cost of game performance. If you're willing to take the risk, feel free to check boxes other than the ones shown in my photo and experiment to find what you prefer—such as maxing out sharpness or shadows—since tastes vary. If you select the same settings as in my photo, the game will look exactly like it does in my screenshots, with no performance loss.

Next, launch the game. Once in-game, a loading indicator will appear at the top of the screen. When loading is complete, press the default key to open the ReShade menu (you can reassign the keys for opening the menu or instantly toggling ReShade effects at any time). All that remains is to apply my "bbbbb" configuration or experiment by enabling or disabling specific settings within the preset I created, depending on your preferences. Certain options—such as sharpness, shadows, or reflections—can further enhance visual quality but may be resource-intensive; I have selected only those settings that improve the game's appearance while maintaining optimal performance.

Unfortunately, the game's art direction was designed with that horrible orange filter; there will always be a slight orange tint in broad daylight, depending on your location. Nevertheless, I did my best to hide it.

Instructions d'installation

If ReShade is already installed on your PC, the process is simple. Otherwise, download the latest version of ReShade that supports add-ons. Place my mod in the game folder (where Greedfall.exe is located), then open ReShade, select GreedFall, and choose DirectX 10/11/12. At the bottom of the screen, click "Browse," select my mod, and keep the default settings. Click "Next" twice, then "Finish"—that's it! Have fun! (I’ve included images to help less experienced players.)
