Vagos Gang Outfit Variations Redesign

What is this mod?

This is a simple texture replacement mod that alters the three Vagos gang member character models and their clothing variations. It simply recolors some of the new variation designs so that they no longer wear the fluorescent, brightly-colored clothing and patterned designs that were added in the Definitive Edition, which I found to look out of place, and instead wear more intimidating and realistic outfits you would expect '90s cholos to wear in more muted colors like black, grey, brown and tan. It also makes the new beard added to the variations less common so that they mostly have goatees, as per the original GTA San Andreas models.

How do I install/uninstall this mod?

Extract the provided .zip file to any folder on your Windows computer (for example, your Downloads folder), then copy-and-paste the 'Gameface' folder to the folder where Grand Theft Auto San Andreas - Definitive Edition is installed, pasting it into the main folder. The mod will now be installed as the file "50-VagosRedesign.pak" within a folder called "~mods". No files are overwritten as part of this process and no tools are required to install the mod.

If you would like to uninstall the mod, simply go to the "~mods" folder (within <Your GTA III DE Game Directory>/Gameface/Content/Paks) and delete "50-VagosRedesign.pak". Start the game as normal and you

Testing

The best way to immediately see how these new designs look is to check out the images, which show a before-and-after with most of the new designs visible. If you want to see it in game, take CJ over to Las Colinas (northern part of Los Santos, northeast of Glen Park) and you will spot Vagos walking around in the new designs.
