GTA 3 Definitive Edition M16 Nerf

What does the mod do?

Basically heavily nerfs the M16. With double the magazine capacity of the AK, a firerate comparable to a minigun, it also has nearly 3 times the damage. Before this mod lowers the damage to 25, the M16 sat at a pretty 52 damage per bullet, meaning you could sneeze on your left click and it would vaporize the family of 4 in front of you. Although the damage has been more than halved, it still keeps its place as the most powerful firearm in the game.

WARNING BEFORE INSTALLATION:

Firstly, this mod is not compatible with other mods that alter the weapon.bat file. One will probably overwrite the other, resulting in unpleasant gameplay situations. Please contact if you have any questions.

Secondly, if you have previously installed the Shotgun Nerf mod, please delete that file and get the version from here that nerfs both of them with 1 file.

Installation:

1. Download and open the ZIP.

2. Open your game folder, and follow the path:

GTA III - The Definitive Edition -> Gameface -> Content -> Paks -> ~Mods

2. 5. If you don't have the ~Mods folder, create it and name it as such.

3. Drop only the .pak file into the ~Mods folder.
