GBVSR Potato Mod

A mod that reduces assets in the background to improve game performance.

Get individual stages or get the whole pack. I recommend to install these mods using Unverum:

GitHub - TekkaGB/Unverum: Downloads and install mods for several Unreal Engine 4 games.

If you want extra performance boost, lower the render resolution using the .ini files

How to Install the .ini files:

Copy paste this to your file explorer address bar:

C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\GBVSR\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

Or navigate to that folder under your username on "%UserName%"]

Make a back up of your GameUserSettings.iniand Scalibility.ini if you want

Extract the contents of GBVSR_Config_Potato.zip on it and replace the two files

If you want to edit this yourself instead, just make sure the bottom of the GameUserSettings.ini has these settings:

sg. ResolutionQuality=25. 000000

sg. ViewDistanceQuality=0

sg. AntiAliasingQuality=0

sg. ShadowQuality=0

sg. PostProcessQuality=0

sg. TextureQuality=0

sg. EffectsQuality=0

sg. FoliageQuality=0

sg. ShadingQuality=0

You can go lower than 25. 0 for ResolutionQuality, the lower the more pixelated.

The scalibility file makes the pixelation sharp, open it to see what it has.
