Graphics Settings Good Results

New settings file to test - proud to deliver after hard work done.

Very good results on an attempt to get better graphics (almost full Ray Tracing) while keeping high GPU usage and good fluidity (almost constant frame rate). WARNING! Only for Ray Tracing turned ON (for now) and powerful GPU/CPU configurations!

We will tweak the file later for the convenience of all the players - small & NASA computers alike, give us time, it's a lot of CVars and values.

How to install:

1. Remove all the previous graphics tweaks (if you had any) from both \Gotham Knights\Mercury\Content\Paks and \Local\Mercury\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor.

2. Launch the game, go to graphics settings and make sure you have Ray Tracing enabled, Upscaling Type to Off, Upscale Quality to Off, and Quality Preset to Highest. Do not change those settings after!

3. Unpack the zip file and place pakchunk99-GraphicsSettings_99_P.pak and pakchunk99-Configs_99_P.pak to \Gotham Knights\Mercury\Content\Paks.

4. Launch the game. Adjust brightness and contrast settings if needed.

To uninstall do the steps in reverse order.

1. When playing in co-op the client might experience stuttering! So test in single player mode.

2. Character shadows are missing (for now).

3. Map menu might look weird (for now).

Keep in mind that the game is very much hardware-dependent, so your results might be different. Share your experiences and, please, be precise on your hardware (GPU, CPU, memory, HDMI or DP version), software (drivers), system (refresh frequency, HDMI on/off).

From a personal point of view, I'm not a huge FAN of current Ray Tracing features in games in general and especially when those are overdone. First of all, current generation of GPUs is not yet ready for that and to me it's too costly for what you get. Now, when properly done it could be enjoyable but, once more, it doesn't break three legs on a duck.
