Description:
This mod was created for those who want to experience the game knowing exactly what Jörmungandr, Mimir, and Atreus are saying when speaking in the Ancient Tongue.
It features fully translated subtitles in English, Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish, and French.
The translations are accurately sourced from the official God of War (2018) script, which was leaked in November 2024 by former WGA council member Tian Jun Gu via his Scribd account.

Update Note (Speaker Bug Fixed!):
Previously, players had to disable the "Subtitle Speaker" option because the mod had to rely on pre-existing audio associations, causing incorrect character names to appear during the dialogue. This issue has now been completely fixed! Thanks to a custom dxgi.dll proxy injected into this update, the game will now dynamically intercept and display "World Serpent" and "Jörmungandr" as the speaker natively, depending on which part of the game you are. You can safely leave your "Subtitle Speaker" settings turned On.
