  What this mod does

  • []Choose what gets censored — at install time you pick any mix of four categories: Strong (the F-word and C-word families), Medium (the S-word and anatomical terms), Mild (the ass/arse family and light insults), and Religious Oaths (god / hell / damn / christ used as expletives). Filter everything, or just the strongest language — your call.[/]

    []Text: up to 141 censors in the game's English text file — subtitles, item descriptions, and UI labels. Same-length asterisks replace flagged words (e.g. the F-word becomes "**").[/]

    []Audio: up to 383 voice lines silenced across loose combat barks and dialogue banks — only the profane word is muted; the rest of each line plays back normally.[/]

    []Mythology-aware — God of War's own in-world lore (the Norse pantheon, the Nine Realms, character and place names) is recognized and left alone. "The gods of Asgard" and similar lore references are never touched; only real-world-style profanity and blasphemy are censored.[/]

    []English only — other locales are left as-is.[/]

    []Single-player only — no multiplayer concerns.[/]
