Vibrant and Realistic ReShade

The ReShade removes the greyness of the original game, while also creating more vibrant and realistic colors and shadows. It also applies a sharpening filter to make the game have more pop to it. You can also notice things like the sun being blended into the sky and having a much less defined outline unlike the vanilla where its very easy to see the outline of the circle.

THERE WILL BE A PERFORMANCE DECREASE!

I saw FPS drops of around 5-10 with the ReShade installed, you can gain some back by disabling the sharpening but it will not be a lot, maybe ~4 FPS gain. Unless you're sitting around 60FPS and don't want to dip below that, it won't affect your experience of playing the game much if at all.

HOW TO INSTALL:

Option 1: Reshade hasn't been installed

1. Download ReShade

2. Download the Zip file and extract the config file

3. Open the ReShade setup app

4. Go Through the setup until you reach the preset menu

5. Route the Directory to the config file

6. Finish the setup, ReShade will go ahead and download the needed files, filters, etc needed for the preset and should apply it and have it working the moment the game is started

7. Start the game and just to be safe, make sure the Preset is applied by opening the ReShade menu by pressing the Home Key and either go through or skip the tutorial

Option 2: ReShade is installed already

1. Download the Zip file and extract the config file

2. Copy and paste the config file into your game directory (EX: E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Ghost of Tsushima DIRECTOR'S CUT)

3. Start up the game and open the ReShade menu by pressing the Home Key

4. At the top of the menu where it says "ReShade Preset", click it

5. A drop down menu should appear after clicking it

6. Find the name of the config file that you downloaded and click it

7. The Preset should now be applied and working

ANY FLICKERING LIGHTING MOST LIKELY IS NOT THE CAUSE OF THE RESHADE, THE LIGHTING IN THE GAME IS JUST BUGGY AT TIMES. HOPEFULLY THEY'LL FIX IT IN A PATCH LATER ON

You can even check if it's the fault of the ReShade by toggling it on and of and seeing if the flickering is still there. Every case of flickering lighting that I've seen personally wasn't the fault of the ReShade and was just the game bugging out. I'm not going to say that the ReShade won't cause any flickering since I'm not sure but it most likely isn't. If there is a case of the ReShade causing flickering make sure to report it and I'll try and see if I can fix it.
