This mod improves the native HDR presentation of Ghost of Tsushima DIRECTOR'S CUT by providing a complete PsychoV replacement for the game’s overly dark HDR tonemapping.

The original colour filters and tints are retained, while PsychoV replaces the native HDR luminance curve to provide more natural contrast, smoother highlights and proper control over your display’s peak brightness.

This is a ReShade addon, not a ReShade effect. It modifies the game’s shaders directly inside its native HDR pipeline. It is not AutoHDR and does not convert a finished SDR image into HDR

Installation instructions

• []Install latest ReShade with addon support. [/]

  []Extract the zip folder and copy all contents into your installation folder (next to GhostOfTsushima.exe).[/]

  []Press <HOME> on your keyboard to access ReShade UI.[/]

  []Switch to the RenoDX tab in ReShade UI[/]

  []Select "Recommended" or "Enhanced native look" preset or adjust settings to your liking.[/]

  About RenoDX

  RenoDX, short for "Renovation Engine for DirectX Games", is a toolset to mod games. Currently it can replace shaders, inject buffers, add overlays, and write user settings to disks. Because RenoDX uses Reshade's add-on system, compatibility is expected to be pretty wide. Using Reshade simplies all the hook necessary to tap into DirectX without worrying about patching version-specific exe files. The source code is available on GitHub.
