Walshaerts Valve Gear (Working)

A functional model of the Walshaerts Valve Gear setup I used the only construction I could find on the workshop as a base to start working. I have largely remodelled it to a functional model. It is nowhere near perfect and has a lot of room for improvement. Instead of timing the two piston motions, I went with the idea of using a spring for the other pushing force needed. I got the idea from kAN Gaming in his video on scrap mechanic. The biggest issue I have found is the biggest wheels available on the workshop are still too small to make a working train. The components of the valve gear are larger than the wheels, so using them as is would just scrape those parts on the ground consistantly. I used a simple linkage and motor for a consistant linear actuator to power the wheel movement. Use R/F for forward and reverse movements
