On a Self-Hosted or Dedicated Server, only players who are logged in as the Farm Manager or Admin can use the sleep function. Regular players can therefore not simply advance the game time. Players without the required permissions cannot independently skip through the night or repeatedly fast-forward time when they are alone on the server. This keeps control over the game time with the server management and helps prevent abuse of the sleep function.
