Anchor Production Cruiser

The Anchor-class cruiser is the glue that ties together the nomadic fleets of the Salareen. Following closely behind the spearheading ships, it sets up shop at newly conquered resource points and start producing frigates based on the Pursuer and Assailer-class hulls. While labeled as a support ship, the Anchor is more than capable of standing its own, with its twin 228mm "chainsaw" turrets capable of firing almost 400 rounds per minute, delivering a wall of lead against any poor Morays that stand in its path. Armament: Two 2x228mm main artillery turrets Two 6x54mm AA batteries Six 60mm secondary cannons Two bow-mounted EMP torpedoes Two 2x flare launchers I actually hesitated a long time to upload this, fearing that it would lead to further nerfing of APS explosive warheads. The main guns are so potent, that even the heaviest Onyx Watch ships will absolutely melt away under the sheer volume of fire. On the other hand, they are ineffective against shields and are thus only useful for dealing with the early-game factions. The extra AA guns feel like a farce as the main cannons are more than capable of dealing with most airborne threats. UPDATE: Fixed exhaust piping, detection equipment, and enhanced survivability somewhat.
