Helicopter RAF Ward - EnterElysium

Branch: Airforce Class: Helicopter Role: Ground Attack Note: Relatively Fragile, relatively cheap Designed as an upgrade to the cheap lightweight wooden attack drones launched from the HMS David Potter class cruisers, the RAF Ward class replaces the wooden around of it's predecessor with light-weight metal alloy to provide more protection with the trade off of slightly increased cost and includes a small and ineffective missile interception system. Using a tri-rotor design and armed with 8 medium-short range IR missiles and a light rapid fire cannon the RAF Ward is designed to be fielded en mass to swarm the enemy with missiles and targets. Able to take down far more costly vessels the Ward is deemed as "cost effective" by the Elysian military although they often take high losses even during peace time due to their propensity to collide with others in mid-air. ~From my FtD series on YouTube
