Several shields, including some mounted on a spin block, offering good protection to the mid-section. Laser missile defence. Three distinct weapon systems Main cannon (twin barrelled, high gauge) for engaging distant surface and low altitude targets. Torpedo system (8 x 4 block tubes) for engaging naval targets, even at close range. * AA gun & missile (quad barrelled, rapid fire cannon + 2 short range missiles) for engaging high altitude threats. Sufficient engine power to operate at an altitude of 60, which should offer some protection from torpedoes and mines. Docking, repair, and resupply found both at the top, and the bottom of the outpost for servicing a wide array of friendly craft.
