Orbital Support Platform standard briefing Ship Name: Akhet Ship Class: Akhet Ship Type: Orbital Support Laser Satelite Stats: - Cost: 130,612 Resources - Blocks: 2,315 - Speed: 91m/s Main Weapon: - 1x Forward laser emitter (Continous). Defenses: - Front Armor (Wood + metal checker board) - LAMs system - Side Armor (1-2 meters of metal) - Smoke - 2x medium flare/decoy launchers Description: The Akhet is an orbital fire support satellite fielded by the Orbital armada believed to be primarily designed to target and destroy small and fast-moving craft but is also capable of destroying larger more heavily armored targets, such as warships as well as other spacecraft. The satellite is armed with a 10,000-power burst fire laser system connected to a central emitter for offensive fire as well as several smaller emitters mounted across the craft for targeting incoming munitions. The laser system has been observed to fire in high-powered bursts lasting up to 11s before recharging for 12s before firing again, the craft has however been observed to break this recharging cycle when incoming munitions are detected within L. A. M. S range. The Akhet is lightly armored and its L. A. M. S. can be easily overwhelmed by large missile barrages, meaning that Akhet is rarely deployed along against anything that is capable of targeting it, with the Akhet mostly being observed to be deployed in a support role in conjunction with the larger ships of the Autonomous Fleet and Orbital Armada.
