Elegance Nuclear Railgun Platform

Test rig for a railgun that fires nuclear shells. Want to nuke a flying squirrel? Want to end a hideous war, in a defnitive and elegant manner? Fear (no) more, for I give you the "Elegance" railgun. How it works: -save the "nukeshell11" subvehicle in the red cage (don't change the name) -spawn an enemy -kaboom (goes either the enemy or the gun) -??? -profit It's essentially a disguised mass driver that fires APHENPFFSDS shells (armour-piercing high-explosive nuclear proximity-fused fin-stabilized discarding sabot). Cannon is kind of accurate at any range up to 4km, with a standard ammo capacity of 20 rounds at a rate of 4 RPM (15s/shot). The proximity fuse allows to do some damage even when missing or "phasing" through the target. Pros: -big boom, on average 600k damage on direct hits -fast, accurate shells (1800 m/s muzzle velocity) -can engage any surface target below 4km, and reliably hits any air vehicle (very good at nuking flying squirrels) -"cheap" for a gun this size and power (turret costs 40k) -can be manually fired with right click -sometimes the shell can "penetrate" a target's internals and detonate inside... ouch Drawbacks: -cheesy -extremely vulnerable before firing, one stray shell and... ouch -big target with some structural weak points -this version does not support synchronized firing, meaning you can only mount one gun per vehicle (for now) -shells are expensive, around 3000 mats/shot -requires a strong electrical generator That's my first attempt at making mass drivers. I find it a bit underpowered for that kind of weapon, but I had fun building and testing it. ACBs are painted pink so you can see how the gun works, or if you want to improve it. Sams stash inspired me to make the Elegance cannon, I took a different approach, but if anyone can advise me on mass drivers I'd be very thankful ^^
