Minerva Class Inter-war Heavy Cruiser

A fictional early-inter-war Heavy Cruiser I designed in Rule the Waves (Of which Rule the Waves 2 is now out! woot woot!), and decided to continue my alt-history K.u. K Kriegsmarine series, and make an FTD realistic replica of. She possesses a full interior, crew quarters, officer quarters, mess rooms, lavatories, coal stores, steam engines, rudder room, loading rooms, etc. The Minerva class was a class of seven heavy cruisers of the K.u. K Kriegsmarine designed in 1916 and constructed throughout the First war. The initial design entirely lacked any form of AA, and had six single mount 6 inch cannons for secondary armament. However, with the lessons learnt through the war, the design was altered through their construction, to change the six single mount 6 inch guns to four double mounted 4 inch guns. The intent was to have these guns operate with high elevation for potential use as an extra AA armament, however issues with the elevation mechanism and turret house rendered this experiment a failure. In leu of this, the AA armament of 6 singe mount 3 inch QF guns were added to the superstructure. Construction of the first four ships was completed by 1920, however delays in the construction of the final two sister ships resulted in them being delayed until 1922. After their commission, out of the first four, three were sunk by accidental circumstances, with the SMS Palici lost by grounding, and both the SMS Vervactor and SMS Denube lost through wreck, with SMS Minerva continuing to serve as a Heavy Cruiser throughout the inter-war period, becoming the flagship of the 3rd Cruiser Squadron. Out of the last two ships, the SMS Falacer served in the 4th Cruiser Squadron until being sunk by enemy action, and the SMS Drava was mothballed and later scuttled in 1932 after sever storm damage.
