Whaleshark - Selachii Carrier

This is a former aircraft carrier submission for the Steel Strider. It was rejected for being too big and generating too much Lag for the campaign. This vessel was designed to be a sistership of sort to the SS Greatwhite, part of the arsenal of Selachii Corporation. Selachii is responsible for the creation of the most advanced ships and airafts in the Steel Strider arsenal. They boast the best technology available from laser point defense to Particle Accelerator Cannons. It is just under 15000 blocks and can cruise at 15m/s. The Whaleshark start combat with two Kunai escort fighters and one Mako Bomber. The carrier can create more Kunais as the fight goes one. The carrier doesn't rely solely on its aircraft escort to defend itself. Its own armament consist of : - A Piercing Particle Accelerator Cannon turret; - HE torpedoes in the "Mouth"; - 3x Phalanx AA APS Turrets; - 3x banks of EMP missiles; - An array of Simple laser turrets; For defense, it can count on: - 2m metal armour all round at minimum; - Deflect shields all round; - LAMS defense; - Smoke emmiters; The Kunais themselves are armed with missiles and simple lasers, while the Mako carry its own PAC. All planes are fed battery energy by the carrier mothership's powerfull steam turbines. A big thank you to user Mechromancer on FTD Discord, who is the true originator of this project. The idea of building a Selachii style Carrier was his own, but he struggled to shape the hull the way he wanted, so he asked me to take over and finish the Whaleshark in his stead.
