📋 About This Mod
Description
FH6 Universal Radio is an open-source radio mod for Forza Horizon 6. It adds a new in-game radio station fed from your local music library, online radio stations, Spotify, YouTube Music, your own Jellyfin server, or any Windows app (Deezer, a browser tab...), controlled from a clean browser dashboard. Audio is routed through the game's own radio bus, so the new station fades with menus, reacts to in-game volume, and behaves like every other station in FH6.
Unlike other radio mods that lock you into a single paid streaming service, FH6 Universal Radio is fully open-source (GPLv3) so the community can keep extending it with more sources, fixes, and support for future game builds.
Installation instructions

1. Close Forza Horizon 6.
2. Download the latest fh6-universal-radio.zip from the Files tab.
3. Extract the ZIP directly into your Forza Horizon 6 install folder (the folder where forzahorizon6.exe lives). Overwrite files when prompted.
4. Launch the game.
5. In FH6 audio settings:
- Set Radio DJ to Off
- Set Streamer Mode to On
6. Cycle through the in-game radio stations until you land on the new one.
7. Open http://localhost:8420 in any browser on the same PC. From another device on the same network, use your PC's local IP (e.g. http://192. 168. 1. 42:8420), run ipconfig in a Command Prompt to find it.
Uninstall
- Delete version.dll from the game directory.
- Delete the fh6-radio folder.
- Verify/repair the game files through Steam, the Xbox app, or the Microsoft Store to restore the replaced game assets.

Local music playback
Point the mod at any folder on your PC. Plays MP3, FLAC, WAV, OGG, M4A, OPUS, M3U, M3U8, and more.
Online radio
Search a built-in directory of thousands of internet radio stations by name, genre, or country (powered by radio-browser.info), or paste any direct stream URL. Save favourites with their station logos and watch the live track info as it plays.
YouTube Music support
Paste any YouTube video, playlist, or YouTube Music URL into the dashboard and it streams straight into the in-game radio.
Spotify Connect support
Enable Spotify in the dashboard, then pick "FH6 Universal Radio" from the Devices list in your Spotify app and cast straight to the game. Requires an old Spotify Premium account.
Jellyfin support
Stream playlists from your own Jellyfin server. Configure server URL, API key, and user ID under Settings > Jellyfin, then cast a playlist by ID from the dashboard.
