Recoded Videos (1.56 gb instead of 4.65 gb)

This mod is created for saving disk space, primarily for those who play on small SSDs or HDDs, steam deck or other portable consoles. In general, where every gigabyte is important. My goal is to compress video files so that they are as small as possible while still maintaining the original quality. Without changing the video resolution or frames per second.

In some videos the visual flaws is slightly noticeable. If you prefer max quality, then refuse to download this mod. I made this for myself and decided to share it with those who are not satisfied with a big bloated files.

You can safely delete SignLanguage folder located in: example: C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/ForzaHorizon6/media/UI/Videos. This can save extra 1,82 gb of space.

I also recommend that you delete unnecessary audio languages that you don't need.

1. Go to the game folder: example: C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/ForzaHorizon6/media/Audio/FMODBanks

2. Use the search function to look for files ending with _EN.assets.bank (English), _DE.assets.bank (German), _ES.assets.bank (Spanish), _MX.assets.bank (Latin American Spanish), _BR.assets.bank (Brazilian Portuguese), _IT.assets.bank (Italian), _CN.assets.bank (Simplified Chinese), _TW.assets.bank (Traditional Chinese), _JP.assets.bank (Japanese), _KO.assets.bank (Korean). Delete those you don't need. Keep at least one of them.

This can save extra 10 gb of space.

So I left one audio localization language, deleted the unnecessary audio files and sign language folder, apply my compressed videos mod and instead of 158 gigabytes, my game folder now takes up 142 gigabytes.

Installation:

Backup your Videos folder in media/UI/Videos, in case you decide to revert back.

Unzip Forza Horizon 6. Recoded Videos.zip to the root game folder, with overwrite.

Example: C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/ForzaHorizon6
