📋 About This Mod
-
[]Eliminates all the optional Turbo/Supercharger/BOV SFX from the BMW 4. 0L V8 used by the 2008 M3 and 2005 M3 (Engine swap). This way you can have all the power without the extra SFX, and stay true to the OG NFSMW M3 GTR: which was a true 4. 0L V8 N/A.[/]
[]This retains the anti-lag SFX, so you can have all the cracks and pops you want when turbocharged.[/]
[]Sets the "race" transmission whine as a default for all transmission options. (v2 and v3)[/]
[]Optional "sequential" gear crack. (v3)[/]
[]Optional silent gearbox/no gear cracks (v4)[/]
[]This only applies to the BMW 4. 0L V8 engine, nothing else is affected. (Other cars that use this engine will be though)
There are 3 versions:
V2: Uses
which uses the race transmission whine SFX for all available transmissions, WITHOUT the "Sequential" gear crack.
V3: Also uses
which uses the race transmission whine SFX for all available transmissions, but WITH the "Sequential" gear crack for ALL transmission options.
V4: Uses
which silences the transmission and gear cracks, allowing for pure engine noise.
As far as the livery goes, there are a lot of options, so choose your favorite.
If using the No Gearbox Whine mod from Revolusound, be sure to override their file with this one. This will preserve the iconic dogbox whine.
