Japan Enhanced Colors and Cinematic FX

Description

This ReShade preset was created to improve the overall visual style of the game while keeping the original image natural and believable.

The game itself is great, but in my opinion it lacks a stronger visual identity. Some environments can look a bit flat, especially in terms of color separation, atmosphere, contrast and cinematic presentation. This preset was made to address that by adding a more polished and atmospheric post-process layer.

The main goal is not to completely change the original art direction, but to enhance it with stronger contrast, richer natural colors, cinematic color grading, more atmospheric depth in the distance, and subtle cinematic camera FX.

Included Presets

1. ReShade_VisualEnchance_v1.ini - Base Preset. Recommended for regular gameplay.

2. ReShade_VisualEnchance+SSR_v1.ini - SSR Preset. Experimental version with screen-space reflections enabled.

This version can improve reflections on cars, roads and glossy surfaces, but it may cause artifacts in menus, loading screens or UI-heavy scenes.

Installation instructions

1. Download and install ReShade from the official ReShade website. Proceed with regular installation. Forza Horizon 6 - DirectX12

2. Place all shaders in folder for game

3. Copy the included presets .ini files into the same folder as the game executable.

This preset uses shaders from:

- prod80 ReShade Repository

- More polished overall image presentation

+ SSR - Add reflections for ground surfaces

My Setup

GPU: NVIDIA RTX 5060 Laptop GPU

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 series

Graphics Settings: Ultra

I did not notice any significant performance drops on my setup while using both Preset.
