Description

The main purpose of this mod is to allow Forza Horizon 6 to run on unsupported AMD hardware, with a focus on integrated graphics (APUs) and older dedicated Radeon GPUs.

It now works as a compatibility layer built around both D3D12 and DXGI proxy hooks, bypassing the game's initial hardware validation, keeping memory reporting consistent, and fixing critical launch-blocking issues affecting devices such as the Ryzen 5 5500U (Vega 7) and Radeon RX 500 series GPUs.

Installation Instructions

  []Locate your Forza Horizon 6 installation folder where the game executable is stored.[/]

  []Copy the provided d3d12.dll and dxgi.dll

  files into the main game directory.[/]

  []Launch the game.

  The first startup may show a black screen or crash while shaders and cache data are being initialized. If this happens, restart the game and try again.[/]

Requirements

  AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition with DirectX 12 Agility support ( 23. 10. 01. 14 or newer) must be installed for the fix to function correctly.[/]

  []System RAM

  For APU users, at least 16 GB of RAM is recommended. 20 GB or more is strongly preferred to compensate for shared VRAM allocation.[/]

  []Supported Configuration

  This build is intended specifically for AMD integrated graphics and older Radeon hardware. It is not designed as a universal fix for all GPUs.[/]
