# Cadyx Realistic Reshade - Photorealistic Japan (4K HDR OLED)

Another Reshade for Forza Horizon 6. To be honest, there are already quite a few Reshades out there, but none of them hit the mark for me. They usually suffer from two major issues: either they have way too much color (losing all realism), or if they actually look decent, the performance drops significantly.

So, I decided to dive into the shaders myself, clicking through the settings until I found a sweet spot that feels right. This is currently an Early Alpha, but I am already incredibly happy with the results. More updates and fine-tuning will follow!

## 🖥️ Tailored for High-End Setups

Please note: This preset was built and meticulously fine-tuned on a 4K OLED Monitor with HDR enabled.

Colors & Contrast: Optimized to take full advantage of OLED perfect blacks and HDR highlights without crushing details.

Sharpness Notice: Because this was created for a native 4K resolution, the sharpening effects (`CAS` and `qUINT_sharp`) might feel too sharp or aggressive if you are playing on a lower resolution like 1440p or 1080p.

I am highly open to your feedback! If you feel certain settings need adjustments for lower resolutions, let me know in the comments.

## 🚀 Easy Installation Guide (No Add-ons Needed)

Getting this preset to work is incredibly simple. Just follow these exact steps:

### For New Installations:

1. Download the latest ReShade 6. 7. 3 (Standard version, without Add-on support).

2. Run the ReShade installer and select the Forza Horizon 6 executable.

3. When prompted, select my preset file (`CadyxRealisticReshade.ini`) directly inside the installer.

4. Keep clicking "Next" through the setup until it's finished. ReShade will automatically download all the required free shaders for you.

### If you already have ReShade installed:

1. Run the ReShade 6. 7. 3 installer again.

2. Select the second option: Update existing installation.

3. Select my preset file (`CadyxRealisticReshade.ini`) again and simply click "Next" until it's done.

## 🎮 In-Game Controls

Press the `HOME` key on your keyboard to open the ReShade overlay and verify that the `CadyxRealisticReshade` preset is successfully loaded.

Press the `F11` key to instantly toggle the entire ReShade on and off for a quick before/after comparison.
