Defend your forts, oil rigs and air defense ships well to repel sudden attacks from the enemy team. The top of the oil rigs can be cut off from the deposit by separating two cubes of iron block, strengthen them more securely if you do not want to solve them, and the soil near the oil rigs lets the rays through underwater and you can destroy all the underwater rigs with an orbital beam. You can win both by completely destroying the enemy and by capturing and holding oil rigs, which, among other things, can also be helped by harpoons, lasers, missiles, artillery and long-range aircraft. I recommend playing with the mod: Thrusters!, Sailing Boats (HS) or other mods for ship movement, Vanilla_ (expanded) for underwater missiles, long-range aviation and general improved game balance, as well as Pinger for improved communication with allies.
