Ultimate AI

Ultimate AI is a smarter skirmish and multiplayer AI for Forts. Instead of running the same fixed routine every game, it adapts to how the match is actually going. It looks at the fort it was given and plays to its strengths. A fort full of mortars and snipers presses early; a missile or laser fort holds and survives until its heavy weapons come online. It tracks what the enemy is building, goes after the weapons that are actually hurting it instead of fixating on one target, and coordinates with allied AIs to focus fire instead of scattering shots across the map. It was built and tuned over dozens of real matches and consistently beats the Ultra Hard AI. To use it, enable the mod and pick an AI team as usual. It works in skirmish and multiplayer, supports every base commander, and is compatible with the Weapon Pack DLC. It only affects AI-controlled teams; it never touches a human player's fort. Feedback and bug reports are welcome. Ultimate AI rebuilds the skirmish AI's decision-making around a utility scoring system with a strategic layer on top. Targeting: every potential target is scored on seven factors (value, threat, vulnerability, weapon match, opportunity, coordination, game phase) combined into one score. A strategic layer reads the match state and shifts those weights depending on the situation. What it does that the stock AI doesn't: - Reads its own fort's weapon mix and classifies it as an early-game rusher or a late-game artillery fort, then plays to that timing. - Tracks the exact enemy weapon hurting it and prioritises destroying it, instead of tunnelling on a reactor while its own guns get dismantled. - Counter-battery: turns its mortars and missiles onto the enemy's mortars and missiles when under pressure. - Avoids overkill; won't pile heavy shots onto a target that's already dying. - Every anti-air-capable weapon intercepts incoming mortars, missiles and rockets. - Team coordination: AIs elect a leader, focus the weakest enemy, and take spearhea
