Squeeze More FPS Out of Forts — Zero Gameplay Changes This mod boosts performance by cutting visual overhead where it hurts the most — device animations, particle effects, smoke, muzzle flashes and projectile trails. Everything stays fully functional and balanced. What the mod actually does: • Freezes/removes device animations and ambient particle effects (rotating blades, spinning parts, etc.) • Removes weapon muzzle flashes, smoke emitters and projectile trails • Removes laser beam impact effects, splashes and heavy flak explosions • Kills blinding full-screen white flashes from powerful weapons and super-weapons (reactor-style blowouts and "super-flash" effects) — the hit still happens, your screen just doesn't get nuked. (The Flashbang keeps its flash — that's the whole point of the weapon.) • Rocket swarms & warheads are much lighter: smoke, trails and impact effects removed, and rockets despawn after a set flight time — huge swarms run far smoother Targeted optimizations for supported mods: • Landcruisers — Wheel dust, tire tracks and wheel sprites disabled. Lighter on CPU/GPU. • Alex Extra Upgrades — Device animations and effects disabled across all tiers; overbright weapon flashes removed. Heavy beam & charge effects thinned roughly 10×, full-screen flashes removed, and shotgun-pellet trails stripped • AEU: Super Weapons & AEU: Super Weapons (no limits) — Effects optimized and the screen-filling reactor / super-flash blowouts removed. • AEU: Extra Blackfirebeam — fixes the massive lag when used with buffing lasers. • EXPLOSIONS!!! — Heavy trail effects replaced with lighter versions. Same look, far fewer particles. • Additional supported mods optimized: Hex, Hualong, R-mods and etc. Compatibility: • Works even if you don't own or use any of these mods or DLC • Loads last so it can optimize content from other installed mods too Pure performance.
