Welcome to the Mother of All Bases. A crazy design i used to test various building methods for modded. Massive in size and does not skimp on firepower. Is buildable and tested. PROs: Easy to build footprint to get started Massive layout that is changeable each time you build it No direct connection to loot room from roof access (can roof all floors above and below main loot) Easly defendable even for a massive base The furance rooms act as a trap, cant ladder out Cons: Easly raidable in the early stages (build core first) Big base = Big resourses, estimated around 2mil Needs a large flat area Double walling takes a bit extra time to build. If you miss 1-2 walls the roofing / shooting floor stablity will not work correctly and youll have to improvise. Update Dec 31th: Sadly with the massive build changes lately this build is almost dead in the water. Its still possible to build but roofing is no longer viable and the wall stacking method though still works is a little more complex to get started. Onto the next project! Update Dec 7th: After the new 3. 0 update the wall stacking method used in this build still works. The only thing i would change is putting roofing on every floor you dont have loot, ladder hatches, hallways, or normal ladders. This will add lots of secruity both vertically and from the outside-in while also forcing raiders to drill through doors/ladder hatces if they dont want to waste 1000s of resources. I might do an updated version with half-walls but need to work up the will to do it :D. A: This design is built to be optimal. I wanted to put turrets and various things in optimal locations for reference while not spamming for secruity like other large designs I see.. Of course you can add more as you grow (turrets, barricades, walls, ect..) to make the base even mor
