Final Fantasy I Pixel Redefined (Beta)

The next Pixel Redefined mod (Beta) is here!

These mods will provide rebalancing of nearly all gameplay elements. This one is still in beta, but the hope is that it will also expand postgame content significantly in the future.

Changes to vanilla include:

Rebalanced Jobs: Jobs now feature unique commands that significantly expand the combat strategies available to your party! Commands generally rely on new weapons to change their effects.

Each job now has an offensive-oriented command a defense/support command. Red Mages/Knights/Ninjas can also use Magic from the side menu (go right to see defend and escape options and you'll see it).

Expanded Equipment Options: many new armor and weapons feature that change the commands to proc different abilities. Enjoy finding and collecting many new items!

Rebalanced Difficulty: enemies are now stronger, faster, and hit harder than ever in order to fight the newly empowered classes! Can you survive in this rebalanced world?

Princess Sarah: using the Lute now summons Princess Sarah to aid and heal the party!

This mod is recommended for old fans of FFI who want a new challenge with the promise of future updates to keep the experience growing.

Updates will include:

Expanded Enemies: more enemies will be added in future updates, including superbosses.

Expanded Story: future updates will take the form of "adventure modules" that add entirely new dungeons and scenarios to the game!

Expanded Language Options: as of initial release, English and Japanese are supported by this mod. Other languages will be added in the future, and the Japanese translation will be fine-tuned.

Readme: a more extended description of additions and changes will be provided in the future.

Installation instructions

1. Install Magicite. Download the following:

UnityPlayer CRC Check Bypass: https://www.nexusmods.com/finalfantasy5pixelremaster/mods/58

BepInEx: https://github.com/BepInEx/BepInEx/releases/download/v6. 0. 0-pre. 2/BepInEx-Unity. IL2CPP-win-x64-6. 0. 0-pre. 2.zip

Magicite: https://github.com/Silvris/Magicite/releases/download/v2. 2. 0/Magicite-2-2-0.zip

2. Copy all of these folders into the game folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY PR) and run the game once. This will create config files for Magicite. Now, you're ready to go.

3. Download the mod.

4. Navigate to the game folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY VI PR\FINAL FANTASY_Data)

and then find the folder titled "StreamingAssets," then create a new folder there titled "Magicite".

5. Paste the mod folder into the Magicite folder

Compatibility: this mod is compatible with old saves, but is best experienced with a new playthrough.
