Cheaper Spell and Uninterruptible Ability

This mod adjusts a few (bad) design choices in FF7 Remake that can feel restrictive:

- Many spells have disproportionately high MP costs, making them impractical to use and reducing strategic variety.

- Magic often feels like a scarce resource instead of a core pillar of combat.

- Weapon abilities are interrupted too easily, wasting ATB and breaking the flow of battle.

1) Lower MP Costs

Many spells now cost less MP (by 10%–50%). Lower MP costs make more spells practical to use.

Examples of modded MP cost:

Poisona / Esuna / Resist: 2 / 8 / 6

Firea / Blizzara / Thundara / Aerora: 8

Firega / Blizzaga / Thundaga / Aeroga: 15

Biora / Bioga: 6 / 12

Barrier / Manaward / Manawall: 9 / 9 / 13

Breach / Dispell: 5 / 8

2) Weapon Abilities Are Harder to Interrupt

Characters can finish weapon abilities even when hit by most enemy attacks.

You still take damage, but the ability usually continues.

Many “unblockable” attacks can now be countered with weapon abilities.

Only a few very strong enemy abilities can still interrupt you.

3) Additional Adjustments

Casting time of most magic is reduced by 50%.

Breach / Dispell now costs 1 ATB.

Cloud’s Counterstance lasts longer, giving you a wider window to counter enemy attacks.

This mod is incompatible with other mods that modify battle abilities.
