📋 About This Mod
I produced new arrangements of "Trail Of Blood" for the ship's battle music. This includes two battle edits for the main deck and the cargo hold, as well as a short underscore layer for the 2nd class cabin hallway based on Advent Children's "Beyond the Wasteland." Also includes new matching scores for 2 of the cutscenes around these segments.

These arrangements are less chaotic than than the standard score. The cargo hold score in particular is a quieter dynamic version of the main deck score, getting quieter and creepier as you progress rather than louder as the standard score does. This re-score also features a short dynamic layer between the main deck and cargo hold scores which features motifs from "Beyond The Wasteland" From the score of Advent Children, which you can hear below.

New optional Cargo-Hold-Only version available
For fans of the arrangements of Hurry! that this mod replaces, I have added a new version of this mod that only replaces the music in the cargo hold of the ship. The version of Hurry! that played there in the standard score still plays in an earlier battle, so that means you won't miss out on anything by using the cargo-hold-only version of the mod! It modifies BGMList.uasset, so it's not compatible with other mods that modify that. The main version doesn't have that restriction.
I would love to read your appreciation or criticism on the posts tab. Please remember this is only a mod, and you don't have to install it if you don't like it. My re-scores aren't intended to disparage the replaced music or composers. I sometimes replace music I don't like, and I also sometimes just want a fresh alternative to something I do like, just like any other mod.

📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Niche but appreciated—33 endorsements from a dedicated fanbase.
- Gives a fresh spin on a classic track without overhauling the whole soundtrack.
- Easy to install—just drop in the audio files.
⚠️ Cons
- Only affects one chapter's battles, so if you wanted broader music changes, this won't cut it.
- Small mod with limited testing—might conflict with other audio mods that touch the same files.
- No version info provided, so compatibility with the latest game patch is uncertain.
For FF7 fans who want to spice up the ship battle sequences with a new take on Trail of Blood. If you're a completionist looking for fresh audio in that specific section, this is for you. Skip if you want full soundtrack overhauls or gameplay changes—this is purely cosmetic audio.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure to back up the original music files before replacing them, so you can revert if you don't like the new arrangements.
- If you're using a mod manager, check if it supports audio mods for this game; otherwise, manual installation is straightforward.
- Listen to the new tracks in-game to ensure they fit the battle intensity—some arrangements might feel different.
