Gilded Sword (majoras mask)

Description

The Gilded Sword from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, added to Final Fantasy VII

Rebirth as a DressCode weapon skin for both Cloud and Yuffie.

The reforged blade from Snowhead, with its swept crossguard and red leather grip,

sized to match the other Zelda one-handers. Cloud carries it in place of the Buster

Sword; Yuffie wields it in place of her shuriken.

Purely cosmetic - no stats, abilities, or balance are touched.

Installation instructions

1. Install the DressCode framework first (see Requirements).

2. Download and extract this archive.

3. Copy the ClGildedSword and YfGildedSword folders into:

...\FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH\End\Mods\

4. Launch the game, open the DressCode menu, and select Gilded Sword under

Cloud's or Yuffie's weapon list.

To uninstall, delete the two folders.

You can install just one of the two folders if you only want it on one character.

Main features

- The Gilded Sword for BOTH Cloud and Yuffie - two weapon skins in one download.

- Proper metal shading. The source model ships with no metallic map at all, which

leaves a "gilded" sword looking like painted plastic - so the gold is separated

from the red leather grip and shaded as real metal, with the leather left matte.

- 4K base colour, roughness and normal maps carried over at full resolution, plus

the model's emissive detail.

- Hand position and grip matched to the existing sword mods, so it sits correctly

in both characters' animation sets.

- Cosmetic only. No stat, ability, or balance changes, and no save-game impact.

Requirements

- FF7 Rebirth Mod Library (FF7RML)

- DressCode - this mod is a DressCode weapon skin and will not appear without it.

No other mods are required, and this does not conflict with other DressCode weapons.
