Field of View Mod

Lyall's FF7RebirthFix is a more comprehensive FF7 Rebirth mod that includes adjusting gameplay FOV and disabling vignette. I recommend it over this program if you do not need to change the fov dynamically! https://github.com/Lyall/FF7RebirthFix

The default fov of FF7 Rebirth is a pretty absurd 60 degrees.

This is a simple C++ Console program to change the field of view in the PC version of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.

Run the executable after launching the game and use the hotkeys to change the fov. The included .ini file lets you set the default hotkeys and FOV. The default hotkeys are:

- Numpad + : Increase FOV by 5

- Numpad - : Decrease FOV by 5

- Numpad * : Set to 60

- Numpad / : Reset to 0 (Default FOV Cvar)

- Numpad 1-9 : Set FOV to 10-90

The game uses 0 as the default FOV Cvar value, which lets the game know to use default camera FOVs.

For example, Cloud's section in Nibelheim has a default FOV of 65, but open world sections are generally 60.

Setting this Cvar value to something other than 0 will control those FOV values.

The program detects if the game is closed and will gracefully exit.
