UI Pixel Remastered

This project was something that started as wanting to remove the green tones on the default UI (window frames, cursors, etc.), and then turned into a comprehensive UI modification. The scope of it was making sure that it:

• []Is based on the stock UI, meaning it doesn't stray too far from the base game, or the FF aesthetic.

  []Is cohesive.

  []Covered all visible UI elements.

  []"Pixelized" most of the mobile "modern" ui elements.

  []Hopefully improves on the base UI, when it does deviate from it.

  A lot of UI inspiration was taken from previous FF games spanning mostly from various SNES, PS1, and PSP releases. Elements were redrawn by hand a lot of the times, it's not just simply a recolor of the UI. As such, it took some effort to dial in certain elements.

  INSTRUCTIONS

  Download your prefered color from the Files tab.

  Extract or drag-and-drop the contents of the downloaded archive into:

  • []Steam\steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY VI PR

    You may, beforehand and optionally, want to back up the following folder, if at any point you wanted to go back to the original version:

    • []Steam\steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY VI PR\FINAL FANTASY VI_Data\StreamingAssets\aa\StandaloneWindows64
