NAS's Reshade

Keep in mind I am using a HDR on a calibrated AW3423DWF, my in game display brightness in game is at a 3. I recommend fine tuning your brightness as it depends on your environment, but ideally you are on a dark room at a low brightness so the colors are 'truer'.

I use prod80's color correct to get rid of the games original color filter. Then I use prod80's tonemap to adjust the highlights and shadows to avoid crushing details in either as much as possible. Then since I am using framegen I add a slight sharpening to give clearer details while trying my best to avoid visual artifacts. Lastly I slightly increase the vibrancy to make colors pop without adjusting the original color too much.

I am by no means good at this and a I am a complete amateur, but I believe these adjustments brings out the games true beauty and clarifying details while removing this 'haze' that is apparent when toggling the preset on and off. If you have any tips please leave a comment I would love to fine tune my Reshade skills.

Installation:

Drag and drop zip contents into FFXVI's directory. (EX: C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY XVI). Toggle overlay with 'PgDwn'.

Or download the newest reshade.exe and install Reshade as usual during installation make sure to select shaders by brussell & prod80. Then take my "ReshadePreset.ini" and place in games directory mentioned above.
