📋 About This Mod
Customize your Hall of Virtue w/ different backdrops + custom training enemies that spawn at your level! Enemies even include allies like Cid or Shula.
Installation
This mod requires the latest versions of Final Fantasy XVI Mod Loader (Reloaded-II) and Faith Mod Framework to run properly.
Please download and install both requirements along with this mod, and then follow the instructions here:

Description
This mod allows players to customize their Hall of Virtue experience with different backdrops and custom training enemies that consist of bosses and hunt marks that will spawn at Clive's level. This is different from previous boss replay mods because in the other mods the enemies would spawn at their original level of when you first encountered them in the game, causing less enjoyable replay value.
The backdrops are a compilation of most of the maps that can be found in DadaDa's previous mods as well as a number of new maps:
Instructions
In Reloaded II, click this mod and then open the config menu by clicking the "Configure Mod" button.
You'll see a menu with two sections: Backdrop and Enemy.
In each section, by default the toggle is off. You must toggle the section on for whatever you choose in the dropdown box to be applied.
Planned Updates
This is a pre-release of this mod. I am working on adding more backdrops and attempting to fix some of the strange enemy behavior.
Please keep an eye out for the full release later!
Known Issues
- []Many backdrops have areas where Clive can get stuck and cannot get out of, causing you to have to exit the Hall of Virtue to reset things. Some other areas cause Clive to fall off the map and go into an infinite freefall which will eventually reset the map and spawn Clive back at the original spawn point. Some enemies cannot follow Clive if you jump into an area below the spawn point. The workaround is to reload the enemy by switching to Goblin Mugger and back to Custom.
- []Sometimes accessing the Training Options menu will cause the game to crash. I'm working to figure out what causes this crash. Try relaunching the game, or you can also try the workaround described in the Bugs section.
- []Several of the backdrops also have a glitch where as soon as you kill the training enemy, the game will freeze and crash. With the exception of The Witanhall and Byron's Mansion, the backdrops that crash are any locations which were purely used for cutscenes and you could never walk around in them.
- []The Naldia Narrow backdrop comes with what I'm calling a "bonus Barnabas". Barnabas is just standing there when you load in and if you (or Torgal) get too close to him, he will fight you along with whichever training enemy you configure.
- []All enemies that are normally allies cannot currently be defeated (they never go below 1 HP). Several of them will also throw potions or cast curing spells on Clive in the middle of doing other damaging attacks.
-
[]For some reason, the Timekeeper and Hugo get stuck and are unable to proceed to their next phase, so unfortunately you cannot do a proper replay of those fights with this mod. Liquid Flame also has an issue where the game crashes after a certain point in the fight.
