Face Defined DT

Face Defined is a complete face texture enhancement mod for every race and gender of XIV.

This is a new process used for Dawntrail. In all honesty, Square did an amazing job with the new face assets. This however will clean up the last bits of character assets.

▫️Face Defined is designed to be a refinement of the new textures all while providing a brand new 2k base for mod makers to work with.

Why should I use this over any other random upscales that might exist?

▫️ This is just a continuation of our previous work which I hope you all know

▫️ Each face and etc file is sent through the exact same process to ensure that all assets are uniform in quality.

▫️ We also have a comprehensive understand of how Square changed all the color channels. I was personally involved in dissecting the benchmark in preparation to get Gen3 bodies functional. (Which we had ready to go April 18th)

Permissions

▫️ You are free to create any content you desire with these assets as a base providing you give proper credit and link to original source. We also like to know what gets made with our work so feel free to let us know!

▫️ We spent a vast amount of time developing these mods on our own time for free so in return you can NOT sell any mods made with these assets period. All mods created with our work must be 100% free. No patreon exclusives, no Ko-fi shops, no private commissions where you overcharge the person.

▫️ All mods created with our assets are allowed to be posted in any discord server or on any site save for the following. "The Contribution server", "The Repository", "The Glammour Dresser"

▫️ Why can't you post any works created in the above listed servers?

With the core assets being Squares original textures, and the fact that we do all of this on our own time for free, I do not want any of my work posted to locations that actively support charging for mods. In the event Square ever comes after modders this keeps our team free from any legal ramifications. I also personally do not want my work posted to places that actively discriminate against anyone. Our work is designed to be for all not just for those who support certain people and then get banned from a group because they liked the wrong post, follow the wrong person, etc.

▫️ I ask for nothing in return, I don't charge people for anything, nor do I want anything in return. I just want to give good free content to everyone. So keep that in mind.....
