Zayne Love and Deepspace - A Valen Replacer Mod

Description

This mod replaces Valen with our lovely Doctor Zayne from Love and Deepspace. It includes changes to all of her portraits and sprites, some dialogue rewrites, changes to furniture, and changes to baby portraits and sprites! There are 4 versions of this mod, Zayne, Zayne with glasses, Zayne with long hair, and Zayne with glasses AND long hair. Pick ONE.

Installation instructions

You need the Mods of Mistria Installer to install this mod. 

Step 1: Download this mod

Step 2: Unzip it into your mods folder

Step 3: Install with MOMI

Step 4: Enjoy!

This mod should be safe to install/uninstall mid game.

How to install updates

Step 1: Uninstall the mods via MOMI

Step 2: Delete the Zayne mod folder from your mods folder

Step 3: Download and install the new file

  []Minor rewrites to the 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 heart cutscenes to sound more like Zayne[/]

  []Replaces the baby sprites and portraits so that 1) the baby has dark hair and hazel eyes like Zayne, and 2) Zayne has a baby sling to hold his baby more responsibly [/]

  []Custom letters at heart level 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7[/]

  []2 custom letters each at hearts level 8, 9, and 10 (one for friends, one for romantic)[/]

  []An additional custom letter at heart level 7 if the player has shipped Jasmines[/]

  []Edits to furniture in the clinic[/]

  []Edits to spouse furniture[/]

  []Changes to the toast and speech for Hayden's wedding so that it fits his dynamic with Zayne[/]

  []Changes the liked and loved gifts to be more in line with Zayne, and changes the hated gift![/]

  []Adds custom gift dialogue for certain items, and for anything sweet![/]

  []Makes it so Zayne does not like carrot related items[/]

  []Makes it so Zayne does not like alcohol and changes some event dialogue to reflect this[/]

  []Changes the neutral gift acceptance emoticon to be "..." instead of the cute face, this change applies to everyone, sorry[/]

    Known Bugs

    - There is a known vanilla bug where the baby is referred to as "she" in a letter. Please wait for a patch from the devs

    - The light baby sprite doesn't show up properly in the stork delivery scene. I don't know how to fix this

    Compatibility

    This mod is currently not compatible with other dialogue edit/expansion mods. At best, the Zayne content will get overwritten. At worst, your game won't launch.
