Tired of chests cluttering up your farm? The Storage Shed is a small, buildable outbuilding with a roomy interior: a place to keep your storage out of sight.

Features

• []Buy the blueprint from the Carpenter's Shop (Buildings tab) for 15,000 tesserae.[/]

  []Build it like any other building: place the construction site on your farm and turn in 60 Wood and 20 Refined Stone.[/]

  []Small outside, spacious inside: it takes up the same 12x6 footprint as the Small Greenhouse, but the interior matches the farmhouse's west wing.[/]

  []Place almost anything: chests, furniture, rugs and wall decorations all work inside.[/]

  []Decorate: use wallpaper and flooring just like in your house. Your choices are saved.[/]

  []Its own exterior: a custom painted look inspired by Celine's house, so it doesn't look like a recolored greenhouse. The greenhouse itself is untouched.[/]

  Requirements

  • []Mods of Mistria Installer (MOMI), a version made for the July 2026 engine update or later. MOMI automatically installs the MMAPI framework this mod uses.[/]

    Installation

    • []Extract the Storage Shed folder into your mods folder. The path should be mods > Storage Shed > manifest.toml, with no extra nested folder.[/]

      []Run MOMI and click Install.[/]

      Good to know

      • []A few items can't be placed in the shed: beds, the baby cradle, the teleport pad, ladders/stairs, water sprite statues, auto-feeders and ocarina sprite statues. (But honestly, why would you want to put your baby's cradle outside?)[/]

        []If you build more than one shed, they share the same wallpaper and flooring.[/]

        []The button prompt for wallpaper/flooring doesn't show inside the shed, but using them works as normal.[/]

        []The construction site uses the greenhouse's scaffolding while it's being built.[/]

        Uninstalling

        To remove the shed safely, use the Missing Location Rescue helper (under Optional Files):

        • []Empty your shed first. Anything left inside will be lost.[/]

          []Using a bed from an older version? If you ever slept in a bed inside the shed, pick it up, place it in your house, and sleep there once before continuing.[/]

          []Back up your save folder.[/]

          []Swap the mods in MOMI: uninstall Storage Shed, add Missing Location Rescue, then install.[/]

          []Load your save. The shed will be gone from your farm and its spot freed up.[/]

          []Sleep once to make the cleanup permanent.[/]

        Keep Missing Location Rescue installed until every save that had the shed has been loaded and slept in once. It's safe to leave installed long-term (see below).

        Prefer a backup? You can also just restore a save from before you installed the shed.

        About Missing Location Rescue

        Removed a mod that added a new location, and now your save crashes on load? This helper cleans up the leftovers right before the game reads your save, so it loads normally again. It works with any mod that adds a location, not just the Storage Shed.

        What it cleans up (only for locations that no longer exist):

        • []Props and music: decorative props and music settings saved for that location are removed. These are what usually cause the crash.[/]

          []Bed: if your last-used bed was there, it's forgotten and you'll wake up at home.[/]

          []NPCs: any villager saved there is moved back to town, and their normal schedule takes over.[/]

          []Building interiors: removed, the same way demolishing a building works. ⚠️ Anything stored inside is lost, so empty it first if you still can.[/]

          Things to know:

          []Only cleans what's missing: if the location's mod is still installed, it does nothing.[/]

          []Nothing changes on disk until you sleep. If something looks wrong, quit without sleeping and your save is untouched.[/]

          []Check the log: everything it cleaned is listed in missing_location_rescue.log, in the mod_data folder next to your saves.[/]
