Quick Stack

v1. 2. 0 Update: Now adds a check box in the upper lefthand side of the chest UI. Checked means it is included in Quick Stack and unchecked means it will be excluded. This was a requested feature. All chests are included by default on placement. If an excluded chest is picked up and placed back down, it will also be included and will need to be unchecked to continue ignoring.

New "Quick Stack" option in Settings which allows remapping the controller button to something else, as well as remapping the keyboard hotkey.

Moved the icon in the inventory to the top right instead of at the bottom where it was as it was reported to overlap/conflict with another mod.

Description

- Adds the game's native Quick Stack icon directly to the player Inventory/Backpack page.

- Clicking the icon deposits matching backpack items into existing stacks in eligible player-owned storage on the current map.

- Controller-friendly contextual shortcut using the game's existing Cast Pinned Spell input while the inventory is open:

- Nintendo: ZL

- Xbox: LT

- PlayStation: L2

- Keyboard binding for the same input: C

- F7 is available as a configurable fallback hotkey.

- Uses the game's native controller glyphs and UI sprite.

- Shipping bins are excluded.

- Uses the game's native item comparison when matching stacks.

Quick Stack intentionally works only with storage on the currently loaded map/location.

- Outside on the farm -> outside farm storage

- Inside the farmhouse -> farmhouse storage

- Inside a barn -> storage in that barn

- Inside a coop -> storage in that coop

This avoids modifying storage belonging to unloaded rooms and keeps the behavior predictable and safe.

Quick Stack only deposits an item when an eligible storage container already contains a matching stack. It does not choose an empty chest or empty slot for a brand-new item category.

Installation instructions

1. Install/configure MOMI for Fields of Mistria.

2. Extract the `Quick Stack` folder into the game's `mods` folder.

3. Confirm `mods/Quick Stack/manifest.json` exists.

4. Run MOMI to apply the mod.
