Multiplayer! :D

It is not 100% feature complete! Some overworld states are not open/synced if the joining player does not have them unlocked on their own safe.

Installation instructions

Download the Mod and put it into your mods folder.

Install it using MOMI.

Download the relay and run it.

Once the game started go into a save and go to the "Multiplayer" tab in your settings.

The Hosting/Joining assumes you are in the same network or the Hosts port is reachable through other means.

For Hosting:

Set IP field. You may change the port but you must make sure it matches with the other players (same with the IP).

Load into your save.

These two steps can be done in whichever order.

For Joining:

Set the IP field to your friends IP and the port to theirs too.

Load the save of the character you want to use to join their save.

It might take a second or so until you have synced to them succesfully. There is an automatic save to preserve your save pre-multiplayer, any saves afterwards (autosaves/manual saves) you do in Multiplayer will be with your character but in the hosts world.

For the Relay:

You normally shouldn't have to do anything with the relay beyond running it, the setting of the IP + Port + Host/Join can be in game in the settings menu you should be able to see a "Multiplayer" tab where you can set all of these and they then get recognised by the relay.

Should you want to manually set parts of it you can run it through the console and add the command line argument --help alongside the run to get more info on what you can set (you can e.g. directly set the IP/Port/...).

Requirements

Download the relay and run it.

(Mod Source is already open if you download the mod)
