Farming Overhaul

This Field of Mistria mod aims to bring a fresh take on the farming aspect of the game by overhauling almost all the existing crops in one way or another.

The mod should not conflict with other mods unless they also change crops or the general store's seed tab. Works with the new update!

Use MOMI to install the mod. Pretty simple!

My main drive behind making this mod is that I wanted all the crops to feel more interesting instead of the same every season just with a new look, and the seasons themselves to feel mechanically different. Also I got tired of the regrowables being the vastly superior choice while also being exactly the same every season.

• []Spring     - cheap and fast growing crops, allowing you to plant more.[/]

  []Summer  - regrowing and multiyield crops, providing bursts of profit.[/]

  []Fall          - slow growing crops requiring less upkeep, leaving more time for milling.[/]

  []Winter     - expensive and less crops overall, slower season to prepare for the new year.[/]

  I don't want to give out more details about the individual changes as I would like people to discover those themselves, but for anyone who likes to know everything before hand here is the information:

  What this mod changes:

  1. 0: Initial release

  • []Changed the prices around a LOT[/]

    []Changed growth time of some crops (i.e. cabbage, corn, cranberry, sweet potatoes, etc)[/]

    []Made some of the crops bi-seasonal (strawberries, carrots, onions, chilis, etc)[/]

    []Made some crops yield multiple produce at a time (tomatoes, strawberries, cucumbers, chilis, etc)[/]

    []Made some crops regrowable (chilis)[/]

    []Made some crops that used to be regrowable to not be anymore (onions, wheat, corn)[/]

    []Made some crops span almost two seasons each, harvest being available just in time for the spring and fall festivals! (wheat, sugarcane)[/]

    1. 1: Changes based on feedback:

    • []Watermelons/pumpkins are now regrowable[/]

      []Fixed crops that were not supposed to regrow (corn, onion, wheat)[/]

      []Descriptions now mention if a crop will yield multiple produce[/]

      []Fixed the store not having the correct selection of seeds[/]

      Obviously this was a big project (I might have done too much research into irl crops for this lmao), and there might be inconsistencies and balancing issues, but I have tried my best to make all crops as equally valuable as possible, but if you know to plan and put extra effort, the profit can be higher :) always open to feedback, which on of the main reason I am posting!
