Expanded Backpack(PLEASE read the description)

Hotfix: v1. 0. 2

Now if you remove the mod, the game will properly load without crashing if you previously had this mod installed. If you decide to re-add this mod later, it remembers if you purchased the expanded bags from the shop and the new tabs return.

Hotfix: v1. 0. 3

In my hurry to attempt a fix for this breaking the game when uninstalled, I overlooked a small bug. If you installed after uninstalling and saving without the mod install, when you reinstall you would no longer have the extra slots even though you purchased the bags. In this build, it fully restores the purchased slots. Please see the IMPORTANT message below this. The game needs to be saved at least once with this mod installed in order to make the changes it needs.

The previous update was set to auto unlock the slot on purchase instead of on use. This update should fix that issue. If you have the purchased bag and the extra slot in your inventory, use this version to allow the mod to cleanup the old unusable bag and maintain your slots. If you dont have the bag and slot unlock, then you should be able to buy it and actually use it this time.

This fixes an issue with the steam deck save not reflecting the bag upgrades. If you play on both Steam Deck and PC, install this update, load the save on PC, verify the extra slots are there, save at the notebook in your house and then let cloud sync do it's thing. When I was rewiring the save to store bag slot >30 in a separate file and restored it back to native save storage, I missed the Linux/Steam Deck path. This is a verified fix thanks to Droplete. The reason I couldn't see/replicate the issue is I never updated the mod on my steam deck.

IMPORTANT

Due to how the previous version modified the save structure, once you update the mod, get in game and place a save. This will remove the entry from your save and into it's own file used by the mod. This is is needed. Once you save you can remove and re-add the mod as you wish.

Fixes the crash that happens when going to the museum and possibly in other places too. There was a Fiddle error. It was only listing up to 30 and was not listing or could not list anything above that. Sorry. Was an oversight.

Description

Adds 2 more backpack upgrade options in the General Store after upgrading.

If you have the second upgrade, there will be another upgrade in the shop for you to buy under the tools section. The bags use the second upgrade bag image. The 4th upgrade will be available the next after upgrading to the 3rd bag.

The inventory screen and your hot bar/quick bar will show D and E for each of the bags. I am no artist so I'm sorry if they look different. I tried to match as best I could.

If you just now upgraded your shop and bought the 2nd upgrade, the 3rd one will be available the next day. Supports inventory scrolling as well.

When opening the General Store menu for the first time after installing the mod, the shop UI will have a bit of a delay before opening. I tried to stop that part from happening, but it's injecting the bag and I can't figure out how to stop it.

If you come across any issues please let me know. This was requested on my chest mod back on the 10th and I have been trying to get this to work for a while now and finally succeeded.

Installation instructions

Download, extract the Expanded Backpack folder into the mods folder and use MOMI to install. Same as my other mods.
