📋 About This Mod
procrastinated preparing for job interview by getting back into mistria, it went well so made this 2 celebrate
this mod makes fruit trees (cherries, lemons, peaches, pears, apples, oranges, pomegranates - on the farm and otherwise) produce all year long. coconut trees & plum blossoms also fruit year-round, but if you want to disable those two, just delete the world_tree.json before running momi
i think i tried to make a similar mod a few months ago, but i started from the bushes (glowberries, etc.) which unfortunately are defined in season-based stages, instead of the fruit being a separate object overlaid over the bush. so i'd either need to be happy with out of season fruiting bushes (snow-covered glowberry bushes all year long), or sit down and create art for fruiting bushes in each season. it would probably only require copying the fruit items and pasting them on each other stage, but i'm not very good with art, and i'd also have to figure out what to do with different forageables on the same bush through the year (roses & rosehips), so i decided to leave it. honestly, on second thought, i prefer collecting the bush forageables in diff seasons, it makes a nice change, but leaving the process here in case anyone else wants to have a go at it.
how to use the mod:
- download MOMI, following the instructions from here: https://github.com/Garethp/Mods-of-Mistria-Installer
- unzip & place the contents of cross_season_crops.zip in the 'mods' or 'mistria-mods' folder you just created
- make sure to run MOMI after the mod has been extracted into the mods
folder, otherwise MOMI won't integrate the changes into __fiddle__.json
