Cross Season Crops and Trees and Bushes

Description

We have done multiple different flavours of cross seasons crops, trees, and bushes. Some reasonable and realistic, the others "OP".

The OP version is based on the original mods by butt0ns, where crops and trees can be planted, grown, and harvested in any season, and crops persist when the season changes. Bushes can be harvested no matter the season, with the only exception being the rose and rosehip bushes - because they share their bushes, roses get spring and summer, and rosehips get fall and winter.

The reasonable, more realistic versions try to go based off of real life ™, and where there is a plant that is Mistria-specific, it does not touch. We have a post about which plants are changed in the stickied comment in the comment section, as well as in-game descriptions updated to match. Otherwise, it does exactly as the OP does - makes it so crops and trees can be planted, grown, and harvested in their more reasonable, realistic seasons, and crops persist in seasons where they make sense. Bushes can be harvested in their more reasonable, realistic seasons as well. As an example, roses get spring, summer, and fall harvesting, whereas their same-bush counterpart get just winter. For another example, cabbage can be harvested in all seasons - but cucumbers only get to be harvested in summer and fall. Ada did use google to look these up and adjust them, and we will note that some plants that are in vanilla Mistria have different seasons altogether than their real life counterparts - for those, we only added the seasons that they would usually be in. We can confirm that the new item descriptions works with mods such as 'Item Insights' and 'Sales Tracker', we do not currently use any other item description mods - so please let us know of any conflicts that could appear.

If you use 'All Crops Regrow' by Nizy, there may be a conflict with the item description versions. This is why there is now an Ada's Cut variant, which is compatible with All Crops Regrow Rebalanced.

We a have now released models for the bushes to be visibly harvestable. Thank you for your patience.

IF for whatever reason someone just wants the crops, or just the trees, or just the bushes, or any of those combos for either version - feel free to let us know, and we can post some alternate files. The base versions, however, will always be all three together. If anyone wants a full list of which plants are affected for each file, please let us know. We have officially posted separate OP versions for Trees and Crops, as well as Reasonable Trees.

Installation instructions

Always back up your saves before using or adding any mods!

- Download the latest release via

https://github.com/Garethp/Mods-of-Mistria-Installer

- Create the "mods" folder in your FoM folder

- Unzip this mod into your \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Fields of Mistria\mods folder.

- Run MOMI to install!
